Wireless Programmer Default Logon Credentials

Posted by Gasboy on Mar 31, 2020 1:22:57 PM

Did you know?

For customers that order the Fuel Point option, the Wireless programmer is a portable device used when programming the Vehicle rings, Fuel Cubes, Datapass and Nozzle Readers. The Wireless Programmer is required to be registered to FHO or the EKOS Cloud Solution database prior to being able to program Vehicle Identification devices such as Rings, Cubes or Datapass. Upon powering up the Wireless Programmer you will have one of two default logon options when you first power on the unit.

Fleet Head Office users:

Gasboy wireless programmer (2)

For customers that are using the basic Fleet Head Office (FHO) program, the default logon will be: Username = ADMIN Password = ADMIN

  • You will be prompted to enter your personal User ID and password after the initial logon.

Note: Please follow the appropriate documentation to complete the Wireless Programmer Registration as well as for programming the Fuel Point devices. The manuals to reference are:

  • MDE-4821 (Fleet Head Office Systems Installation and User’s Manual)
  • MDE- 4868 (Fuel Point Plus Vehicle Installation and Configuration Manual)
  • MDE- 4851 (Fuel Point Plus Station Installation and Setup Manual)

Note: If you attempt to log on using the ADMIN credential above and the prompt says, ‘Erase Personal Data?” turn the programmer off and then back on. Then attempt to log in using the GASBOY credential below. A message stating ‘Erase Personal Data?’ after using the ADMIN credential indicates that the programmer has already been registered to a head office or EKOS application.  Call TAC for assistance.

EKOS users:

For customers that are using the EKOS Cloud Solution option, the default logon will be: Username = GASBOY Password = GASBOY

Note: You will not be prompted to enter your personal User ID and password after the initial logon, but this can be changed at any time.

Completing Station Setup Managed by EKOS

When installing a Gasboy Fuel Management system that will be controlled through the cloud-based solution EKOS, the ASC will need to contact the Gasboy Technical Service team to help synchronize the station data such as vehicle and driver devices. Once the synchronization is complete, the technician should be able to complete the final testing by using the customer’s media to approve the pump through the Gasboy Fuel management system.

Please call the Gasboy Technical Service department at 1-800-444-5529, and make sure to have the following information:

  • The customer’s Public IP address assigned to communicate to EKOS network.
  • The Station Name that was entered in SiteOmat. (e.g. Greensboro).
  • The Station Code that was entered in SiteOmat.
  • The Fuel Product names used when assigning tanks in SiteOmat. (e.g. Diesel #2, Unleaded, etc.)

By completing this final phase; this will assure that the customer will be able to manage their devices and be able to start tracking their transaction events through EKOS.
